Jose Zavala is an Assistant Manager here at Empire Management Group. He brings a strong background in leadership and operations, having worked in warehouse management at Amazon as an Area Manager. With a foundation in Biology Pre-Med studies, he combines analytical thinking with a people-first approach to leadership. What he enjoys most about working here is the environment. As someone who’s naturally more reserved, being part of a supportive and motivating culture has made a big impact on his growth. He also really values the clear and straightforward promotion structure that rewards hard work and consistency. His biggest motivation—his “why”—is his family. His grandparents and loved ones back home inspire him every day, and he’s driven to build a future where he can provide for them the same way they’ve always supported him. Outside of work, he has a passion for dancing. He spent four years competing and later coached for two years, which taught him discipline, confidence, and how to lead others.
